Resigning

Post by Dexter_Abbruzi » January 1st, 2011, 8:15 pm

If for whatever reason, you would like to resign, you can post here in this sub-forum.
Resignation is considered as leaving on good terms (or otherwise without problems), termination for inactivity is not considered to be a resignation. Just to make that clear.

Think twice before resigning.

Also, if you are resigning while either a CO-I, or an CO-II, you are not eligible for the retired CO usergroup. Only if you are Corporal or higher at the moment of your resignation (so previous ranks before previous resignations do not count). Very little exceptions are given to the rule (if the person has previously been a (High) Command member but has requested reinstatement as a CO-I/CO-II).

Retired law enforcement officers no longer retain their LEO-issued PF and CCW permits. They are required to apply for new civilian permits.

It is imperative that if you do hold any current weapons, that you properly dispose of them, as your current LEO licenses are no longer valid.
When you resign, you can not keep your CCW anymore. It will be removed. This is a general notice to everyone in the faction as well as those who resigned at the rank of Corporal+ and are in the possession of a Governmental CCW.
